I have to solve a kind of riddle. A friend of mine told me that there will be a premier of a musical in Germany, which is based on great acting stuff and is now playing on Broadway! In fact I have no idea, because everything which is playing on Broadway or even Off-Broadway doesn't fit with the description of great acting stuff in my opinion. What do you think about it? Any ideas???
Greetings from Germany

Based on great acting stuff? What does that mean?
Oh, and your cause might be assisted if you changed your subject heading to "Riddle" instead of "Research."

Yes that's the question! Could it be a musical based on Shakespeare or something like that? But nothing like that can bee seen on or off-Broadway. Perhaps I have to wait until the official anouncement.

Well, I remember Mel Brooks saying they were going to have some people from Berlin go and see the show, so see what their reactions to the show would be - or something like that, I forget. And as for the Nazism, it's not like The Producers promotes it. I'm sure people in Germany would be just as glad to make fun of Nazis as we would.
It's on Broadway now, but I'm not so sure it fits the "great acting stuff" description.

Yes I have also heard that some Germans were seeing the show and they wanted to know there reactions. I am sure that show would work in Germany but producers are frightened of the reactions. Van den Ende holds the rights for a German production. But it seems that show is not the show which is based on great acting stuff!
