Cute column, although I found it disturbing that Craymor "insisted that all the creators and designers of the musical work on the movie". :x
Still, I have no doubt this will be a huge worldwide hit. In Korea, for example, Mamma Mia the musical was so popular that it was revived at least three times, and even people who don't really care much about musical theater in general know what Mamma Mia is about.

Posted: 7/9/08 at 11:19amI know of very few Americans that have been to the Greek Isles, mainly on cruises or they're ethnic Greeks. A few old movies romanticised them (Tempest, Summer Lovers). Maybe this movie will help a bit. Now if only our bucks can regain some of their Euro value.
