I recently read "The Beast in the Jungle" for the very first time and it's an interesting choice to musicalize. Their idea to keep the dialogue minimal makes sense based on how little actually happens in novella in terms of plot; the bulk of the text explores John Marcher's psyche in-depth. I'm looking forward to hearing more about it!
