Posted: 3/3/06 at 3:48pmNo the rights aren't available yet, and I daresay won't be available for years. If your teacher would like to be considered for the "pilot" of a Broadway high school edition, he/she should contact MTI. That is a feature that is exclusive to their library, and they are indeed developing a number of shows - RENT, MISS SAIGON, etc.

Why not put on your own original version? I mean jeez, you just take the title of a popular ABBA song, for example "Dancing Queen", put some lame story around the entire catalogue. It'll probably save you thousands of dollars.
And by the way, I'm joking. Don't do that or put on the actual show or else the rights company will come after you.
