A better Actress?

Wow Duane I wish you would've seen her in the straight play
The House of Bernarda Alba. Chita Commanded the stage. I had NO IDEA she could be such an enthralling, dramatic, heartwrenching actress. Let me tell you, Chita is a triple threat in every sense of the word. And now that she's older she can take on the harder parts, ala Bernarda Alba. Too bad it was only in LA, she was stunningly phenomenal.

Chita, to me, is an amazing actress!

Chita is as fine an actress as she is a dancer and singer. And she is a stage star of legend. Tenessee Williams said she was the best Serafina in THE ROSE TATTOO he ever saw.

a great piece??? rather odd that when mentioning the roles Ms. Rivera originated on Broadway that Velma in Chicago was not mentioned.

I love Rivera, but this was a shoddy, unimpressive, dull amateurish piece of writing, sorry.
