Roar of the greasepaint?

I just got an email saying that this is coming back to Broadway, is this true? If so does anyone know when?

I'm just asking because I have looked around and haven't found anything about this, and it just seemed kind of odd that this show would be coming back to Bway, at this moment in time.

That would be fabulous! I love this vaudeville score of Newley&Bricusse. Have you got any more details about this possible revival? It seems quite unlikely to me though...

No, no more info, but my e-mail came from a pretty reliable source. I too would love it if it came back, but I am not holding my breath. If anyone has any info, do tell! Please =)

Last I heard, Sam Harris was thinking of reviving it. I seriously hope not; it is one of most cloyingly cute, embarrassingly dated shows of all time. Even the original run was not a great success.

I ask in all honesty/What would life be?/Without a song and a dance, what are we?/So I say "Thank you for the music/For giving it to me."
