Well, I don't know if I qualify as an "everybody who's anybody", but I'll be there. Nina, are you by any chance going back tonight, too?
Of course you qualify, Iflit. Unfortunately, I have other plans for this weekend. If I weren't already committed to something, I would love to see Robbie's show again. It's worth seeing more than once.
I wish it was being recorded. Someone? Anyone? I have a couple of clips that I captured on my crappy little camera last week. It's better than nothing.
And speaking of "someone special" being there...I hear that Robbie's mom will be in the audience tonight. Wait until she see's how much we all love her boy. Talk about an early Mother's Day present!
Who else will be there tonight? Is there a lottery? Even if you can't make it tonight there is still next week!

Rarely do I feel so disappointed to be on the opposite coast! Namo, as always, your presense is greatly appreciated on the board - and to have something like this bring you back out of the woodwork tells me more about the show than anything else.
Robbie - BEST wishes on your run, and may the responses and reactions be defined by Namo's afterglow.
I'll be there. I doubt I qualify as anybody who's anybody, though.
Well, bwaysinger, you are more than just "some guy" so I am sure you are someone. Who else is going?

DGrant, you read subtext very well. Obviously, I was pretty busy in April, and time was tight. If BWW were a stage and I were an actor upon it, I wasn't finding my motivation. Until I saw Rob's show, and I wanted to talk it up, not only because it was very good, but because he's one of our very own.
Bwaysinger just might be the NEXT "some guy"...

Do they have a student discount? Cause if they do I might know someone who can tape it for you. (With Robbie's permission - OF COURSE!)
Thinking of you tonight, dear. And as always...have fun with it.
Well break a leg Robbie.
Sorry to have missed it.
There's still one more week, Corine. Rob Maitner is a guy you are going to want to have seen now, because he is gonna be a star!
Sorry. Can't do it. My schedule is packed.
If Namo likes it kudos. Namo has good taste.
Congrats R.
I saw Trudy yesterday. Funny stuff. See another show tonight.
All Shook Up tomorrow. The Lortel awards on Monday and the Drama Desk nominations party on TUESDAY.
I am exhausted just thinking about next week.
Hope you extend R.
Then I will attend.
Congratulations. If Namo gushed, it has to be worthy.

Jesus Christ. Do we really need to read about Jen Simard again in a Rob Maitner thread?
Well, now I HAVE to see it!

Oh, marguder, this is from the same person who asked the other day, "Who is Robbie?"
The only thing I agree with Corine2 about is wishing for the show to extends or return in a few weeks.

The Duplex was filled tonight at 7pm with an eager and enthusiastic audience for RobbieJ's terrific show.
Robbie's family was surrounded by his BWW well-wishers and it was a wonderful experience.
It was a reunion for those BWW member who were in the audience, many of whom have been around BWW since the beginning. A perfect adults only event without BroadwayKids. There was only one very special person who was missing from tonight's festivities, you know who you are but know that you were missed.
RobbieJ, you deserved every bit of the on-going applause and the yells and the love.
Thank you for your non-stop talent.
Let me add that one fabulosa BWW icon brought a bag of pearls and distributed them among the BWW'ers in the audience before the show. Even RobbieJ's brother was wearing pearls and he looked stunning with a long string of white pearls hanging from his thick neck. Mater Maitner hugged and kissed many BWW'ers as she and her family exited The Duplex.

Oh thanks, Jose. So sweet of you to miss me and call me very special!
Robbie--I look forward to seeing the show next time. Everyone says you're extremely talented.
Robbie did it again!
Who is Jen Simard?

You know, Jen Simian. She had the title role in last season's Prymate. (I just proved that writing parody really IS simple!)
He did it again, huh? I glanced at a clock earlier this evening and thought, "I bet he's doing Alanis now!"
Sadly, he cut Ladies Who Lunch because last week's one hour show apparently ran almost 90 minutes. Ooops. I didn't notice, did you?

Well, he did say he was going to kick of his shoes and stay all night!

RobbieJ's show tonight was wonderful! An eclectic mix of songs (Fiona Apple!), hysterical banter and a truly magnetic stage presence made it obvious what a star he really is!
And it was great to meet up with so many bww.com board members!
PEARLS!
Clutched in RobbiJ's honor. What a magnificent man...what magnificent music... an outstanding evening!
More, please, Mr. Maitner! More, please!
Bravo and Congratulations.
