Ton of dates !!! They have (2) shows on Friday--- 7 & 10pm

This one looks way to cheesily good to pass up !!!

Dating myself, but grew up with this music--

If anyone else gets tix to the 10/24 show at 7, please post-- would be a cool show to say "hi" !

I saw a backers staged reading of this, I guess over a year ago, and absolutely loved it. I cannot wait to see it.

That's cool. so far the storyline's been sorta vague.

Rock of Ages is a club on the Sunset Strip that is targeted for demolition to make way for a mall or something? And Drew Dillenbeck is a bartender there who is a wannabe rock star? Falls in love with a local girl? Set in the 80's with all 80's music of course.

Really looking forward to seeing this new show.

Everyone is saying that... the storyline is just kind of there as an excuse, but the music is so good that no one cares.

I think this may be one of the few off-broadway shows to connect with tourists because that song list is amazing (if that's your thing).

I dont know that Id go that far...I mean, its certainly not shakespeare but there is a story. the storyline when I saw it was about two young kids that want to make it big in LA, and this legendary bar/club where they work thats closing and an ageing rockstar thats hanging around. From the staged reading I saw, I thought it had a lot of potential so Im excited to see how its turned out. But yes, the music is awesome.
