Hello All,
Here's my review of last nights "Rockers on Broadway".
First I want to start off by saying I have been attending this event for the last 5 years and I will tell you that even though I enjoyed myself in previous years, this years event topped them all. Also, please forgive me if I can't remember every single name of the actor/performer who was at this event. My purpose is to give you a summary of the event so please be kind and don't jump on me if I mispell a word here and there. I am sure pictures will be posted later today on BWW since the press was there taking pictures and doing interviews so you can read all about it later on as well.
The Legendary Songwriting Team of Holland-Dozier-Holland and Cousin Brucie Morrow were in there also. One of the members of Holland Dozier Holland could not be there because he could not fly to N.Y. because of a procedure he had done, but the other two guys were in attendance to accept an award with Berry Gordy on stage with Rupert Holmes.
Line-up of songs performed:
Temptations Medley: Can't get next to You, The way you do the things you do, My Girl, Just my Imagination, Papa Was a Rolling Stone, Ain't To Proud to Beg, Get Ready (These songs were performed by 4 super talened guys) one of which was Kris Coleman of Jersey Boys.
