If it absolutly HAS to happen (I still think it shouldn't happen ), I think I would rather see someone like David Yazbek do the music and lyrics. Ahrens and Flaherty write great material, but I agree that most of what they write is very lyrical, lush, and flowing and very much the wrong style for Rocky. Yazbek's music has that "masculine" feel that a musical version of Rocky should have.
I wonder if they'll use the theme music from the movies, since it's so recognizable.
