Rocky's final show...was anyone there?

Did they do anything special? I was at closing night for A Chorus Line (exactly 6 years ago tonight) and closing night for The Story of My Life. At A Chorus Line there were quite a few speeches and stories. It left you with a lump in your throat.....anything like that go on tonight?

I was there and there weren't any speeches made at the end of the show. A few crying cast members, an electric audience, but other then that nothing special

That's kind of to bad. When A Chorus Line closed (which is my favorite show ever...made a special trip to NYC to be there) and the speeches were made and so on, it was a moment in Broadway theatre that I will always remember. You just knew it was a sad, yet special moment. Glad the crowd was great tonight! I made it to the city last Friday to see Rocky again and the crowd was out of control good! You could see the cast members respond and give it their all. That was awesome!

fun post, gfaustswa. I understand the closing night of A Chorus Line being a night to remember, but comparing it to Rocky. Really?
