Posted: 12/7/05 at 3:15amI think Anthony said in an interview that the scarf in the movie was navy and gray, because the white didn't look good on film. I don't remember the exact reason it didn't film well. It may have been because it was too bright? I'm sure someone here knows for sure.

Angels Santa coat went for 1500 on that site. I think thats the most that something from the film sold for. I almost cried when angels boots went for 900. JESUS! I've had those SAME EXACT boots Those are the best drag shoes ever! So comfortable and you can really move in them well. I own several pairs in multiple colors.
However- i will say that backflip is not possible in those shoes.

It'll be interesting to see what it goes for. Good luck if you're bidding!

Hey B, what do you mean that Angel's coat went for $1500 on that site? Not true...because it never actually SOLD. It was pulled early because Wilson wanted it. All of the cast was told to let the studio know what pieces they wanted to keep. Tracie wanted her black and white TMOLM vest, but she didn't know that it was on eBay until after it had sold. I won her cord coat last night...and who knows how much the Mark sweater and scarf are going to go for. Anthony and I talked briefly about it last night...it is *the* most iconic piece from the show. Perhaps tied with Angel's Santa job. I've been a bit upset that the proceeds aren't going to charity, but it's officially "Joanne" year for me (Since I'm doing the Joanne bear this year for BCEFA), so I had to have the coat. Has anyone else here bid on anything?

Funny, Neo. Anthony asked me last night what I was going to do with Tracie's coat...and I had to be honest and say "I don't know.". I think I made a pretty safe and smart decision in getting the jacket since Tracie wore it for the promo's (posters, CDs, hand-bills, trailers). She sings SOL in it and wears it during from the last series of voice mails to the end of finale B. It's a historical, meaningful and very personal piece of film memorabilia for me. I'm sending it out to Tracie in LA to sign it for me, but once I get it back, it will probably wind up in the box with all of my other RENT costumes from the stage production. Maybe someday I'll do a display of Angela/Aggie's costumes at a local museum or university.

Addendum: Does anyone else laugh at the bare bottom dress forms they use? See the 2nd picture above...

PS I'm pretty sure that Taye took the tennis sweater from the movie because i saw a picture of him at some event wearing it.

Haven't the jeans been up for a while? I have no money -- and, I mean, what would I do with his pants?
Let's not answer that.
