What I think is funny is that the only negativity about this show on this board, for the most part, is coming from the person so certain it exists.

There is plenty of positive buzz on this show. Anyone who has seen the audience reaction, which happens to be stronger than any other show I've been to in recent memory, knows that it's not a show that is just going to shudder and die. Do you honestly think those people screaming for more than a minute after songs aren't going to go home and tell all their friends about the great time they had? So, let this guy say what he wants. I don't think he's going to be the one laughing in the end.

I have to tell you, I had a blast.
The Joe Pesci stories cracked me up. I love Joe Pesci.
This is the best juke box musical I have ever seen. In fact, I would say it is stronger than Mamma Mia and I adore Abba and have no experience with the Four Seasons (age thing)
I loved it.
L-O-V-E. I will give it a standing Ovation one more time.
Go and see it. Before it sells out.
It is fun and the music is wonderful.

I'm not a jukebox musical fan at all, but I loved Jersey Boys. It didn't hurt that I grew up on the Four Seasons and bonded over their music with my best friend during high school (don't ask). And I'm in my 20s. I saw them in concert years ago when Frankie Valli practically had to have the audience sing Sherry for him, and it was so much fun to go on a time warp of sorts with Jersey Boys.
