Three raves in two articles in the most recent Time Out New York:

1)"Speaking of that—actor Romain Fruge’s bare ass is exquisite." (B. Greenfield)

2)In reference to the above..."Pretty spectacular!" (T. McNally)

and

3) (My favorite): "Good times and bum times and, in a brief reveal of Romain Frugé’s rear end, good-bum times..." (A. Feldman)

And he can act, sing, and dance...a true quadruple threat!

I heard Kristen's tits were spectacular in THE APPLE TREE!!! Ebersole's cameltoe in GREY GARDENS makes your mouth water!

Personally, I'm sick of gay plays using beefcake for effect. Enough already.

Borstal, I totally agree. Male nudity in a gay show is pandering. What a bore!

Well...I mean...I like it AND I don't???
As an actor its a little depressing to constantly read casting notices for gay plays by major writers that read:

KYLE, 20's, incredible body. Not too bright, but ultimately very sweet. Nudity required.

or

BUD, 20's, model-y type, arrogant, confident of his body. Ultimately very insightful with a hidden sensitive side. Must look great with shirt off.

MUST these A-list gay writers write with one hand? I'm a gay man and honestly--I'm proud to say--NONE of my friends look good with their shirt off!

And yet, BorstalBoy, ironically you have a rather beefcakey picture as your avatar.

I could mention another part of Mr. Fruge's anatomy being beautiful but I shan't! :)

So let's see a pic already!

The truly beautiful should be lawfully restricted from wearing clothing; and the truly butt-ugly should be lawfully mandated from going naked.

Hold on, why are you proud that your friends are out of shape?!

I actually get your point and agree with it; up to the proud part. This is what I say. If you're not seeing what you want to see either write what you want or find a way to get the types of things you want up. I say be proactive. That's the only reason why my friends started writing things...good things too. I haven't seen Some Men, but I hear that's a fleeting moment.

Yes, his butt is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen.

I must agree with Borstal to some extent. However, quite a few of the characters in SOME MEN are FAR from in shape. I think, however, there are quite a few gay roles that need not be played by an adonis.
