Any Bway Performances at the Rose Parade? Are there ever?

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Only if you count the Pasadena City College band playing 'Everything's Coming Up Roses' :)

I don't think so. Isn't the Rose Parade in CA? We went last year. It was fun, but I prefer to be watching it at home on the TV. LOL

Ok, I'm showing my age here but I remember the thrill and excitment of seeing the Rose Parade for the first time on our brand new (got it for Christmas as a family gift) COLOR tv! Wheww whoo, we living high off the hog that year!

And just so you young'uns know that was back in the pre-remote control days. You wanted to change a channel or turn the thing on, you had to GET UP out of chair, WALK over and do it on the set. None of this point and click stuff unless you had a kid who you could tell to go do it for you. Guess who changed the channels in OUR house?
