Considering the consideral bump Rosie gave to Broadway on her talk show, which I miss, it's not surprising that she reads this site. If you read this Ms. O'Donnell, thank you for all you've done for Broadway. re: Rosie Reads BroadwayWorld.com

I think people forget how influential Rosie was when it comes to Broadway. She would spotlight Broadway shows on her talk-show and introduce people in middle-America to performers and shows that weren't very well known outside of New York or California (ie, Emily and Alice, Sherie Rene Scott, Laura Benanti, etc.) For that, she should receive a lot of credit.

I live(d) near Rosie too. I saw her twice in our mall here, talked to her once.

Marquise, Rosie O'Donnell moved out of Miami Beach a few years ago. She no longer owns the home and certainly no longer resides anywhere in Florida.

She no longer lives in Florida? That surprises me. I remember her working so hard to overturn the Florida adoption laws that forbade gay and lesbian couples from adopting.

I'm a bit surprised, too. I remember her saying how much she loved Miami and how she had found in it her spiritual home.

I wish her the very best, and hope she's happy wherever she lives.

I wish Taboo would have toured. I would have loved to see the show but didnt make it up to NYC until March, which was a month after it closed. And I live in Alabama! C'mon Rosie, get Taboo on the road!

In her blog, I thought Rosie talked about her home....in FL.

Rosie was an angel for both Broadway and Broadway actors, her old tv was a haven for us all. Glad she's out there somewhere, and she IS sorely missed on television, I'm sorry she was effortlessly herself, where the other are so forced.

Rosie VERY PUBLICLY and Vocally sold her Florida home and moved out of the state because of its ban on gay people being able to adopt or indeed even "live with children." The laws are that arcane in Florida. She left Florida quite a few years ago now. One of the reasons that Rosie had moved to Florida was that Madonna was living in Florida at the time. Madonna moved out of Florida before Rosie did.
