Rosie O’Donnell is proud to present “ROSIE’S BROADWAY BELTERS,” an evening of music and comedy that will be presented for one performance only at The Zipper Theatre (336 West 37th Street) on Monday, April 11, 2005 (8:00 p.m. curtain). All proceeds from “ROSIE’S BROADWAY BELTERS” will benefit Rosie’s Broadway Kids, a not-for-profit arts education organization dedicated to enriching the lives of New York City public school children through the arts.

I saw something on this the other day and now can't remember where, but Euan's name wasn't attached to it at that time. Where is this release from? Can you tell I'm a bit sceptical? I'll be thrilled if it's true.

Yeah, the words "charity gig" finally penetrated my brain. That usually translates to more than I can afford. My friend thinks she saw a price of $150 on the announcement we saw the other day. I wish I could remember where I saw it.

hmmm the Zipper is tiny too. hopefully they aren't planning to benefit ALL the kids out of the ticket sales. maybe Rosie's whole plan is to donate a fortune of her own and consider this excellent event as her personal thank you to herself, and a few dozen others who care to pay a little. I hope so, and I hope to one day be rich enough to hire my own Broadway Belters full-time.

Well, $250 is a bit out of my price range at the moment, so I hope whoever goes has a great time and reports back.
