Posted: 7/1/05 at 4:52pmI may be in the minority but I cannot stsnd Carole Shelleys voice on the soundtrack. I'm positive i'd enjoy Rue more in that role, because I ALWAYS skip over Carole on the cd.

I absolutely disagree with those who are dissing Rue. Here's what I posted last week after seeing her performance.
"Rue M. was excellent as Madame M. (I completely disagree with those who found her lacking.) Her likability made the audience's discovery of her evil ways that much more shocking. She should try to sing more of the songs though because the few times she did, even though she doesn't have a real singing voice, she was on tune. She should have more confidence in trying to hit the notes."
