Rue Mc. - What's Next For Her?

I missed her in Wicked and I'm wondering if anyone knows if she's going to be back on Bway soon. I know most haven't liked her in the role, however I guess if you really like a particular actor, you tend to overlook certain things. What's next for her, anyone know?

She'll probably spend most of her time finishing her book and working on her original musical, "Cobra Island."

Personally, I either want to see her or Carole Shelley as Gunilla Garson Goldberg in THE FIRST WIVES CLUB - The Musical.

Oh yes, I forgot about her book. First Wives Club, isn't Bernadette Peters also being considered for a role in that? I'd love to see them share the same stage together! Love'em both!

I love Rue. The first time I saw her in Wicked, I thought she was horrendous. But after seeing her eleven times, I actually started to like her. Either way, I think she's a brilliant actress that has had a stellar career.

Yes, Bernadette Peters has apparently been approached to star in THE FIRST WIVES CLUB. It would be great to see her return to Broadway in something original.

PJ, it took you 11 times to start to like her?
"`I grow old... I grow old... I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled.` What does that mean, Mr. Marlowe?" "Not a bloody thing. It just sounds good." He smiled. "That is from the `Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock.` Here's another one. `In the room women come and go/Talking of Michael Angelo.' Does that suggest anything to you, sir?" "Yeah -- it suggests to me that the guy didn't know very much about women." "My sentiments exactly, sir. Nonetheless I admire T. S. Eliot very much."
