I had to write because I have tix for Sept. 8th and am wondering if anyone knows when Idina will return to Wicked after filming. I missed her when I saw it last month (but Eden was fabulous) and was really looking forward to seeing Idina in Sept. (sniff) Any info? Thx.

well, it's being directed by robert towne, so it's safe to say it won't be a hit. he's a brilliant writer, but his directorial history is spotty at best. and i say this while freely admitting that "tequila sunrise" is one of my favorite movies of all time. i don't think this will be the one to make idina a box office sensation.
although there are some who believe that towne can do no wrong having written the 1962 cassavettes classic, "my daddy can lick your daddy."

Justafan-Idina is signed with the show through the rest of the year and as of now is only scheduled to miss June 18-July 2. Good luck!

Posted: 5/19/04 at 11:30pmYes, THIS project is not going to make Mrs. Diggs a "bankable box office star." However, perhaps she is more interested in taking good roles in "small but important" independent films.
