#1Rush/Lotto policies for new shows?

I am visiting NYC in March, and need to see shows on a budget. I am fully aware of the existing rush/lotto policies for currently running shows, but I'm curious about when the new shows opening in the Spring will announce their rush policy, if any. The weekend I'm going is very close to or right on the date of the first preview of some shows I want to see. Should I plan to get cheap tickets in advance for these shows, and not hold my breath for the rush policy to be announced in advance of the start of previews, or are these policies announced usually before the show begins previews? I really only recently started paying attention to the rush policies, as I usually just bought tickets in advance, so I really know little about the details of them.
Thanks!
