Hi, everyone. After being on these boards for so long I should be able to use the search function, but when I do only articles are coming up and I'm awfully confused. SOOOOO....

SEAGULL, TO BE OR NOT TO BE and ALL MY SONS - if I got there around 1pm on a 2-show Saturday, would I be able to get tickets to an evening performance?

Do they accept cards for payment, or is it cash only?

Thanks for your help!

Only from my personal experience.

I rushed for August two Saturday's ago, and across the street there was a line of about 10 people waiting at All My Sons for tickets before 10AM - surprisingly, no one in line for August until a little later 9:30 or so and only 6 people total at box office open.

The following day - I rushed for All my Sons - arrived ten minutes before the box office opened and no one was even there yet, but the line at August was pretty long...so I think for All My Sons - it's pretty day-to-day and hard to predict. Because All My Sons doesnt sell rush until 3 hours prior to showtime if I'm not mistaken, then you shouldnt have a problem for the Sat evening show if you're there early enough and if they havent sold the box seats to regular patrons, which I believe they do - if they dont sell them, rather MANAGE to sell them then they're set aside of students. $26.50, I believe it's strictly only cash.

The Seagull, I rushed last Saturday at 2:10 PM, I remember because I was forced to stand in line with regular ticket buyers and we were allowed inside one at a time in order to not disturb the performance - it was a 20 minute wait to just buy a ticket, BUT when I first arrived I asked ahead of time if there was rush available for the evening and they said Yes so the wait wasnt in vain. Finally got to the window, and got a 5th row side orch seat 4 seats from the aisle. Perfect view and you cant beat the price at $25. I dont remember the box office woman requesting cash, but whenever I do these things I always pay cash - unless I'm seeing Gypsy, then I know charge is an option :)

Hope that helps.

I rushed All My Sons matinee last Saturday, got there around 12 and they still had tickets available. They also let me pay with a credit card.
