Posted: 6/25/04 at 10:47pmI went at 6:30pm a couple of weeks ago and got a couple of rush tickets for that evening's performance. Granted, I'm sure Fatone's rabid following has probably ruined your chances of pulling that.

My friend and I got rush tickets today.... we got there around 1:30pm ish and got two 4th row seats. They were absolutely incredible..
Dare I say it, Joey Fatone wasn't half bad. In fact, I really enjoyed his performance. I didn't have high expectations because of the 'boy band persona' but much like Kevin Richardson as Billy in Chicago, I was pleasantly surprised.
I've heard mixed things about LSoH, but being a fan of the show to begin with, I had a great time. Love, love, LOVE Rob Bartlett as Mushnick. I was keeled over in hysterical laughter at many points while he was onstage. Many props to him for his performance :) :)
Have a great time at the show... like I said, I really enjoyed it. LSoH will warrent a repeat visit.

Posted: 6/26/04 at 10:11amOh definitely!!! But I think you'll enjoy Jessica and Joey as well... they both bring something different to their roles than when Hunter and Kerry were in the show.

Posted: 6/27/04 at 4:55amLooks as though Little Shop is becoming a late blooming hit with this new cast and fan base...crowds have increased all week and audience reactions are really enthusiastic throught the show for all the cast members. Looks like the Tony snub did not hurt LSOH but did hurt the Tony telecast which hit an all-time low. Little Shop ticket sales have increased for the last 2 weeks when other revival nominees went down. Maybe to help the Tony ratings, I would suggest that the Tony's honor the closed shows at a separate hour and make room for scenes from most pf the current running musicals to help business (Big River took up a televised spot and was closed not giving the longer running Little Shop the push it could have used). Luckily, creative casting, seems to have given it a shot. Hope it continues as it is a fun production! The Tony Committee better rethink what the rest of the country really wants to see from Broadway and it doesnt seem to be on the right track for the last decade.
