So my brother is going to NYC during the weekend of Thanksgiving Holiday. I was just wondering, do Broadway shows do rush tickets during the big holidays (i.e. Christmas, Thanksgiving) and if they do, is it generally harder to get tickets then?

For Sat, I would just err on the cautious side and go a bit earlier than you normally would. On Thanksgiving Day, it was actually the same as usual (if not easier) despite very few shows going on, thus limited choices.
