Hello,
Has rush tickets been offered regularly for Something Rotten and On the 20th Century? The websites both say subject to availability. And if so, where are the seats located?
Thanks!

In the case of Something Rotten, the first timer rushed it, I got there at 8:45am and was 12th in line and got far house left orchestra seats row E so they were partial view but we didn't really miss anything I felt. The second time I got there much earlier and was 3rd in line. That time I got second row orchestra dead center. They call it partial view but other than just being so close, I really liked the seats.
"Subject to availability" simply means that rush tickets will be available at the box office if the performance isn't sold out. In the case of On The 20th Century, Roundabout has a general rush policy that applies to all of their shows. Copied from Roundabout Theatre Company's website:
Limited number of mezzanine tickets offered at each venue box office on the day of performance only. Average price $27–$47. Subject to availability.
copy/pasting from the other topic:
If rear mezzanine is sold out (or close to), they won't have general rush.
I know that they have done Student Rush recently, which is 50% of whatever they have left an hour or 30 minutes prior to the show. They do ask for ID though and are not willing to negotiate. They rather leave the seat empty then sell it to someone without an ID, even 5 minutes to curtain^^
Has On the Twentieth Century been selling any rush tickets lately? With the way it's been selling I can't imagine they have been, but I am curious.
