Her recording of "Roxie" on the London Cast Recording is a tour de force. Wildly imaginative! (My favorite moment is when she says "and that's showbiz kid".

Sorry to rain on your parade, bit of bad news here.

I saw Ruthie in London in January, I have never been a big Chicago fan anyway, but I have to tell you Ruthie was sensational.

This makes me really sad--I just left NYC for the West Coast. Ruthie Henshall was my first ever favorite musical actress. I still remember my best friend sitting me down when I was 14 and introducing me to the Les Mis TAC...have always wanted to see Ms. Henshall live. Excited to hear about the show...jealous of those who will see it. :)

Funny too, because I was just googling her a week or so ago to see what she was up to. Didn't see any mention of her return to Chicago then, though.
