In talking about up and coming stars on Broadway, I would like to direct your attention to SARA RAMIREZ. She will be making her way back to the bright lights by way of SPAMALOT (she is the only female principle).

She was last seen on Broadway in A CLASS ACT; the show was lacking, but she definitely stood out (on her own) in my eyes. She commanded and owned that stage everytime she was on it.

Her other credits include; FASCINATING RHYTHM, CAPEMAN, and DREAMGIRLS benefit concert. She has a look about her and a voice that will make you melt.

I remember her in Capeman..weird role..but she was a stand-out!
I also thinks she sings on the Stephen Schwartz album..great voice! Anyone know of other recordings?

Don't forget she can also be seen in a bit part in the movie "You've Got Mail". She is the cashier at Zabar's that gets mad at Meg Ryan.

No Kidding. She's pulling a real star turn in Spamalot. There soon very well may be as many Sarah (pronounced Sada) fans as Idinaheads.

eva's boy, you can hear more of Sara on her website (www.sararamirez.com). You can't download to your own computer, but there are some nice songs. JRB's "I Will Follow" is definitely worth listening to (AND it looks like they just added Spamalot the layout, yay).

I absolutely agree! Sara is amazing! Once Spamalot hits NY, everyone will be talking about her..... hopefully not in 800 redudant threads a day here, but thats a whole different topic:) She blew me away!

How is she doing in SPAMALOT? Anyone care to divulge details in regards to her performance? Curious to see if there may be a TONY in her near future...
