Which part do you want?
What voice range are you?
Are you male? Female? Age? Height? Body type?
Are you even familar with the show?
Can't help you unless you help us.

I'm looking to get the Cat in the Hat.
I am a very well-developed tenor with some strong low notes as well. I am 18 years old/ 5'5" / very animated facial features / very versatile with voices and roles / athletic built / tons of theatre experience...
I am not very familiar with this show at all.

Then,
Sing a fun song that shows off your character. Doesn't have too be very high or low - let them know you can sing.
Perhaps "Welkomen" (spelled horribly wrong) from CABARET.

It's important for the cat to be able to improv..
"Someday I'm going to have a baby and I'm gonna name her L'il Mimi Marquez and I and will sing to her every day and when she's a toddler I will say "L'il Mimi Marquez, clad only in a bubble diaper, will perform her famous play pen handcuff dance to the sounds of breast milk being pumped!" ~Kringas
