Well if they are setting the piece in the late 80s, the plaid pants/spiked bleached hair wouldn't be appropriate. That look was really a 90s - Nirvana kind of thing.
I've only seen Rent once, but wasn't the whole electronics store thing, Crazy Eddie's, not The Wiz? That's kind of disappointing because when I saw the bway show with my old Chicago college roommate, she couldn't get the reference, and me as a proud lifelong New Yorker got to explain it to her. But the Wiz, so generic?
Okay, we have Mark's scarf, Mimi's blue pants, Maureen's cat suit. What more could you want!!
<--- One happy girl.
I want to write music. I want to sit down right now at my piano and write a song that people will listen to and remember and do the same thing every morning...for the rest of my life. - Jonathan Larson. Tick, Tick...BOOM!
lol. I'll miss the plaid pants. Sad times. But that's ok, there's still the Mark scarf. And yea, didn't like the article that much but I loved the pics. Hehehe. Oh, I LOVE your pics, gretchenrose.
Thanks so much!! We were on the set for 11 1/2 hours (6pm-5:30am) but it was so much fun and TOTALLY worth it... :) Also, just a little side note, I think Anthony Rapp said the plaid pants aren't in the movie because it just doesn't look right or isn't pleasing to the eye on screen...I don't know, something like that!! Sorry if someone already posted that...check it out on the "Welcome, Anthony Rapp" thread...
haha...I'm planning on "stalking" (mildly) them again soon...I just can't get enough!! But don't worry, I like to share...so I will be posting anything I can!! PS-Chloe, I abs adore your pic!!
