They're only selling tix for sure through like July 2nd I think. Hopefully they'll make it til at least August - keep checking ticketmaster.

So I saw the matinee today. Cute show, but I didn’t like it as much as a lot of people here seem to. Have you seen those Looney Tunes movies that have footage from old cartoons stung together with new animation? This kind of reminded me of that. The spelling bee was the new animation and the vignettes that gave us backstory on the contestants were the old animation (and I don’t mean old in a derogatory way). But my point is I guess this style didn’t work for me. But it was still a fun show. I like how audience members get to be in the show. I also like that they apparently have references relevant to San Francisco and current events (Da Vinci Code). I’m glad a good piece of theater is around for people to enjoy.

MyMeredithMonster, yeah I saw it at night too!
I loved when the guy with the tattoos went up and Rona was like "Every time "Johnny" spells a word right, his mother lets him get a new tattoo." That was hilarious.
This show was so great.

Tonight's the last night before our beloved Bee cast heads to Boston! Anyone else going? I'll be there in Row B!
