SHERIE RENE SCOTT in Concert – One Show Only on December 4th in NYC

The LGBT Center kicks off the new IN CONCERT series with SHERIE RENE SCOTT, one of Broadway’s hottest leading ladies, the star of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, AIDA and The Last Five Years - and a Tony Award nominee! One Show Only on December 4, 2006 at 7:00pm at the Center on West 13th Street in NYC.

In the midst of what she describes as a "surprisingly fragile state for such a robust young woman," Sherie Rene Scott will sing, chat and prove to herself and the audience that we're not in Kansas anymore. Join us for this silver-voiced chanteuse who has already created unforgettable performances in modern musical theatre classics.

Individual tickets are available at $20, $35, $75 and $150. Visit www.gaycenter.org/inconcert for more information. You can also call (the number on the website) for a subscription to the entire series – which also includes Douglas Sills, Todd Murray and Sally Wilfert on Monday, January 29th, and Alison Fraser and Michael Rupert on Monday, March 19th.

I got so excited when I saw this subject heading!!! Then I realized it is a Monday and I have rehearsal and I can't miss any more rehearsals. Sad. But to everyone who does go, enjoy!

I'm going on Monday, and am very, very excited. What an amazing opportunity to be able to see Sherie for just $20. I can't see how you could say no to that.

I've never been to a concert at the LGBT Center though. Does anyone know if it's very big?
