Posted: 5/10/04 at 12:51pmSooooo quickly! I got through at 9:20, and they were already gone. I have a hard time believing that though, I mean, really, Radio City is so big! Maybe, I'm being overly optimistic because I want to go so much, but I'm hoping they release some more seats later in the month.

I have never had a problem getting tickets...and I called at 9:00...Tickco.com doesn't even have them...and I talked with the people at ticketmaster.com and they said they were not ever available on the site.
Did anyone get tickets this morning? If so a. I’m jealous...and b. where the hell did you get them?

Posted: 5/10/04 at 3:40pmI called at 9:05 and by the person on the phone figured out what I wanted and stopped saying "What is happening here?" It was 9:15 and there weren't any two seats together at the lowest price. How many tickets actually go on sale, it seemed very fast!

I got 2 tickets this morning from Ticketmaster.com. The first few times I tried to get through, it said there weren't any. Then, like, the fourth or fifth time, I got 2 tix 1st mezz. for 129.50 each. I'm excited. It took me awhile but I got them. Keep trying ticketmaster.com, they always release more seats.

"I thought this thread was about Prymate.."
Might just as well have been. I feel robbed that I'll never get to hear Mr. and Mrs. Roxy's reactions to the show.

I am crushed. I really wanted to see what all the hype was about it being a dog of a show. Oh well, I guess I will have to wait for the revival
By the way, call me old fashioned , but the Tonys belong in a Broadway house. Radio City is nice but the truth be told the Roxy was much more ornate & was aptly dubbed "The Cathedral of the Motion Picture ". If I had a choice, the Roxy would still be standing . Of course, so would the Paramount, Fox, Capitol, Rivoli, Mark Strand & every other picture palace pounded to dust in the name of progress
The Roxy was Hugh Jackman & Radio City was your next door neighbor, if you get my drift

The secret is to get the phone number of an out-of-town TicketMaster and call them at 9 AM, or whatever time they put the tix on sale. The out-of-town lines are never busy and you usually get your tickets quickly.
I've done this on several occasions and it's worked like a charm.
