Saw it last night. BRILLIANT! I have lived in this city almost 18 years and this is the best thing I have seen on Broadway EVER...and I hate everything!
Clever music, dialogue, great pacing, the sets and lighting are great.
BRAVO cast & crew...I wish you all the best!

Bobby-
Was Tim Curry's part large? I adore him. Tell me about CURRY.

Posted: 3/19/05 at 1:24pmLOL - Im not a fan of the show, but anyone can answer that question truthfully! No, his part is not that large. Yes, he is on stage a lot and does some nice work with what he's given, but the material is spread very evenly between all 3 leads and none, especially Curry gets a huge role.

Tim Curry was great....understated and not overplayed....great timing....He sang well too....He and Michael McGrath played off each other very well....
Sara Ramirez was GREAT....her second act number is a HOOT! (Women get the best roles!)
Hank Azaria is funny as hell....Its going to be hard to replace him.

Bobby - You didn't mention Christian Borle, who I think is terrific in a variety of roles, including the Historian, "Not Dead" Fred, a French guard, the Balladeer and Prince Herbert.

Thanks guys. I am a huge fan of Borle. He was great in Elegies.
He sang my dog. I almost lost it. He is funny.

Christian was great....There wasnt a performance that I DIDNT like...I just loved that no one over played anything and was AIMING for the laugh....they all just let it happen...
I love all the musical theatre references...thats the only thing that might ever be a problem only because if you dont know the shows you wont understand what people are laughing about. But I just thought the entire show. I think it is one of those shows that you could see time and time again and not see the same show twice.

When Roma compared it to Forbidden Broadway i knew that i had to see it.
I will try for standing room next week.
Tim Curry is worth standing for.
