On Thursday, August 9th, the Tony Award-winning musical Monty Python's Spamalot will celebrate 1000 performances on Broadway by giving away ice cream and raffling $1,000. In addition to the $1,000, other prizes will also be given away.

The free ice cream giveaway will begin at 12 PM, with the prize giveaways at 12:15 PM. The event will take place at the Shubert Theatre, located at 225 W. 44th St.

I CAN'T GO TO EITHER THING NOW. BRYANT PARK OR THIS. BECAUSE WORK IS TAKING ME OUT TO LUNCH.

Posted: 8/9/07 at 2:19pmI was curious, too. I went by the theatre around 5 minutes to noon and there was a pretty long line to get a raffle ticket. I went over to Bryant Park instead.
