Jeez you guys are harsh!! haha

I for one think is sounds very pretty, and Chris Colfer's voice is ridiculously adorable (and pretty!)

Don't get me wrong, I have issues with the autotuning also- mostly because the vast majority of the cast HAS awesome voices and they do not need any technological help at all to sound good!

But that said, I still can't wait to hear the full song, and this song makes me particularly happy to hear because I know that it came about since Chris had wanted to do it in high school, but they wouldn't let him since he's a boy. So I'm happy that he's getting to do a big FU to the people at his high school who wouldn't let him do it re: STAGE TUBE: GLEE Sneak Preview - WICKED's 'Defying Gravity' And again, his voice is so presh

I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

I'm not a big fan of Defying Gravity to begin with but gee whiz, that auto-tuning needs to go. It just ruins the song. And the song is so overproduced, it just sounds so canned and unnatural.

In this particular case, I actually feel like what people are getting annoyed by IS the production quality- as in, the canned sound of the instrumentals and stuff- rather than the vocals necessarily. Because to me at least, the vocals don't seem that unnatrual sounding. There are definitely certain Glee songs where they do sound totally synthesized, but in this case I'm not really hearing all that much of that.

It's mostly the over all production quality- and the fakeness of the instrumentals and stuff- that makes it sound unrealistic.

I dunno.. I guess I've just gotten into Glee enough to be able to look past that stuff and enjoy it anyway haha

SNL - either you are just refusing to actually listen to the song or you must not be familiar with the sounds of audio production.

Great for you to keep going with the whole naive thing, but the the amount of digital manipulation on these vocals is sick. It's terribly produced, as are the majority of their songs.

When I think about you, I touch myself.

Ugh, over-autotuned and produced. This is becoming a pattern.
