Wow they cut "We Could Be close" that was one of the songs I enjoyed the most.
If anyone is interested this is the song list for the show that is currently playing in Bellport
"Overture"
"When You Meet a Girl in Chicago"
"Turn Back The Clock"
"Penniless Bums"
"Tear the Town Apart"
"The Beauty that Drives Men Mad"
"We Could Be Close"
"Sun On My Face"
"November Song"
"Doin' it For Sugar"
"Entr'acte"
"Hey, Why Not"
"Doin' it For Sugar (reprise)"
"Beautiful Through and Through"
"What Do You Give a Man Who's Had Everything"
"Beautiful Through and Through (Reprise)"
"Magic Nights"
"It's Always Love"
"When You Meet a Man in Chicago (Reprise)"
"The People in My Life"
"Finale"
I'm surprised they haven't used the SOME LIKE IT HOT number since it wasn't bad. I did a production in Scotland and though we managed to get the rights to use the title SLIH we had to stick totally to the SUGAR format and content. The title song was "not available".

Wait a minute! I think there WAS a national tour of SUGAR--with Larry Kurt doing the Tony Roberts role. Or did Kurt do the national company of LA CAGE?

From what I understand this link was the national tour where the sets came from for the current production in Bellport.

I saw the SLIH tour and can't remember horribly much about it. I thought Jodi Carmelli(Sugar) did a good job, and that the machine gun/tapping choreography was clever. It was an overall fun show with a horrible performance by Mr. Curtis.
