i would definitely say orchestra since it's going to be a relatively small show.

If you have that option...it's definitely up to your preference. Do you like to see their faces or do you want to see the big picture? I'd prefer front row...but that's just me.

What makes you say it's going to be relatively small?

well obviously none of us have seen the production... maybe you should ask the west end board? but then again, it's a different theatre and not a direct transfer... but it seems to me with only a cast of 11, and playing in a relatively smaller house that it would just make sense to go front row orchestra... especially a piece as character/acting driven as sweeney to see the faces and interactions made.

Shu Q, there is a cast of eleven (I forgot the two leads plus nine other ensemble players) and for the most part they are the orchestra, I'd say that is relatively small.
As such my preference is definitely A center orch.
Of course I'm now wondering if I should wait and buy opening night tics if they are available post AmEx or go ahead and buy now? but I'll figure it out. for myself re: SWEENEY

I stand corrected, you are as vapid as they say.

it's not like there's going to be a huge dance break that you'll want to sit further back to see since the actors have to play the instruments!

ha! dance break in sweeney todd... the tango of the butcher's knives!

Lemme see if I got this right: YOU CANNOT DECIDE FOR YOURSELF WHERE TO SIT SO YOU HAVE TO ASK STRANGERS TO TELL YOU WHICH YOU'D PREFER AND THEN WHEN SOMEONE DECIDES FOR YOU YOU QUESTION IT?

Tell ya what, stay home and watch the Cops marathon, K?

And besides, you want a nice view of Michael Cerveris's lovely face.

Row A is actually 3rd Row orchestra in the Eugene O'Neil for what that's worth.
