"A production spokesperson said that Sabella's departure date was in his original contract."
No big mystery. He chose not to re-sign, probably to join his best friend Nathan in THE ODD COUPLE.
There is still one more role left for him - Oscars accountant.

While I don't wish to say that the story of his original departure date sounds like a smokescreen for something, but who the hell leaves a production on a Friday?
Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

I think it might have something to do with their pay cycle.

maybe he left because he is just HIGHLY underused....

His being underused would be as good a reason as any. His talent was really not leveraged in that show.

Sorry. I have been meaning to change that icon, but a friend of mine sent it to me and I don't want to hurt his feelings!
She's not really as bad as she seems, are you Sister Clarence?

I think I saw Sister Clarence in front of St. Pat's bludgeoning some lapsed Catholics.

That was me she was awhippin' dontcha know. Bludgeons, bastinados, blackjacks, ferules, truncheons and shillelaghs she used on me wee little noggin, but to no avail.
Sorry, Sister! You see, Father O'Reilly likes to peek under me choir boy robes when he's had a wee bit o' the Bushmills, if ya know what I mean.
I'll stick with Buddhah. He may be fat but he's happy and he packs some mean smoke in that huka.

Yeah, I'm friends with Rob and when I congratulated him on his role in Odd Couple he told me about Charity so he's known for a bit. I always thought it was strange that it wasn't announced until, well, now but I haven't asked for any details yet.
And Master - It's funny you say Odd Couple since Rob is leaving Charity when Odd Couple starts for his own part in the show.

I can back up that he is not ill and that they have known since the beginning that he would need to leave now...

Thank you QueenS and chenofan for letting me know that there is no truth to the "he is ill" rumors!

I started jumping up and down when I saw that Rob was coming into the company. I'm VERY jazzed about this. I just might have to sit through SC to see him
