I just got a call from the Dodger Stages telling me that "BARE" was completely called off and that my money was being re funded for the night of November 6th when I was supposed to attend the show. This makes me so sad!

I'm not saying I don't believe you, but I'm holding out hope until we get official word from the show.

I wish I didn't believe what the theater told me! It totally bumms me out.
I am lucky that I got to see it in workshop like 4 years ago.
I don't believe anything until a something official is released.
All we know now is that they lost funding and it's indefinitely postponed. There was no press release concerning a complete cancellation. Also, it's still listed on the Dodger Stages website.

Its not listed as cancelled on the bare site, either

Okay, I'm not sure exactly what's happening, but is it possible that's the initial "we're putting it on hold" call? I can't know for sure what happened because I'm at school and my mom got the call, but a couple days after the indefinite postponement announcement, Dodgers called with that message too...that I should get a refund because the show was cancelled (again, not sure they used that word.) So maybe that's all the call means, and they're just working their way through the dates (mine was the 16th.)
*Hopes she's right*

Maybe they meant your proformance was cancelled.
Yup, that's it, thats the explanation I'm going with. Enough said lol. (jk, wishful thinking? I hope not...)
*still crossed (sore from being in this position for a long time, but bare is worth it)* lol
No, no, no. Jenna Leigh Green looked into my eyes with such confidence when we discussed this monday. I refuse to accept this thread.
someone i talked to online who is friends with damon says that michael, matt, jenna, and john, are no longer apart of the show because they can't pay there rent. he said that they were all bawling pretty bad. i don't know how true this news is i don't know why he would make it up tho either. i'm still hoping he got wrong information *crosses fingers*

well, i've had my tickets for the December 18th evening performance for a while now and i have yet to receive a phone call from Dodger Stages telling me i should get a refund. PLUS...michael, john, and jenna are still involved in the show, they're just able to do other work now. but from what i have been told they have every intention to get BARE back up on its feet.
