There is a thread on the closing night performance of LA CAGE.
Anyone go to closing night of On Golden Pond, Producers Tour, or BKLYN?
I was at the closing performance of On Golden Pond.

Well, look on the bright side. This relieves some of the crowding that had future Broadway transfers looking very uncertain.
I went to the closing show and party of Brooklyn.
This was the best night of my life.. amazing show..
The party was amazing.. im too tired to write.. look for A LOT

The Producers tour still has Tokyo...but yes, it is officially over in North America. The new tour was supposed to hit Akron during the upcoming season, but it looks like it will be cancelled.

If the movie's a hit, maybe it'll spawn something.

Mel and Susan wanted to wait to possibly bring it back next year or 2007 - after the movie has been finished, released, etc. Both of them take a lot of personal interest in every version of the show (tours included), and when you combine this with the movie, the shows opening in Japan and Australia and the Broadway and London shows, it's just too much.
It's possible for the tour to be revived sometime late next year or later - I don't think we've seen the last of The Producers across America.

Yes, The Producers was supposed to be the highlight of our brief "season" next year. Instead we get Will Rogers Follies with Larry Gatlin. Maybe we will get them when it starts back up--I hope!
Sunday was also the closing day for Mark Twain Tonight!, in case you've forgotten or didn't know.
I'm pretty sure THE PRODUCERS will be back in a season or so -- though I would imagine in a Non Equity tour.
i seriously doubt they will let it go non equity. And there will definitly be another tour in 2006 or 07, they will want to capitalize on the release of the movie, just like Chicago was able to do.
I was at the BKLYN closing, it was wonderful, the cast was at the top of their game, it was so fabulous. And the party after was fun and sad, the performers were so nice, and it was great to meet the biggest fans!
I often find it sad when shows close. I am sorry I didn't get to see Mark Twain Tonight, I'm sure it was wonderful.
