Did anyone catch the Broadway production of Salome: The Reading about two years back? It starred Al Pacino and Marisa Tomei and was wondering if anyone here saw it back then. Thoughts/comments?

Marisa was awful. It was so much better at St. Ann's in Brooklyn, when Jennifer Jason Leigh was playing Salome. Pacino was very good, though; as was Wiest.

I also saw it at St. Ann's with Jennifer Jason Leigh who was terrific. Diane Wiest and Aidan Quinn also co-starred. Pacino gave a very funny, hammy performance as Herod. I enjoyed it.

I don't remember anything about it - that shows you how interested I was in what was going on onstage.
