Posted: 2/10/05 at 4:39pmI saw him sing at the cabaret convention last year (or maybe it was the year before?) and he started behind the piano - on a stool with a drink, as though he was at the bar..singing with a mic - but about halfway through the song - he lays down the mic and comes straight downstage center and proceeds to knock us over with his belt - it was one of the most hair-raising experiences I can remember having in the theatre - I still get goosebumps when I think about it. He's AMAZING.
"I don't really get the ending,all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang,and later she kissed him on the toilet,after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung,and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen,and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady?Please help me,thank u very much!"

His belt.. oh, man. Nothing compares to seeing Sam live. He's phenomenal. His presence, his voice, everything.
And I'm sorry you didn't get to see him. I'm sure he had a very good reason for not being there.. he wouldn't miss if he didn't.

Posted: 2/13/05 at 8:44pmIt was amazing how in GREASE!, he turned a little, sweet song like "Those Magic Changes" into a show-stopping power number. "I want you, I need you, I love you forever, and ever!!!!" God was he awesome!
And if she'll say, "My darling, I'm yours!" I'll throw away my striped tie and my best pressed tweed, all I really need is the girl...
