If he sings it in the History Boys, it'll be on the recording I should think. (I've not seen it so I don't know)

I just figured since it was a play and not really a musical that they wouldn't release any type of soundtrack.

I know it's a play, but due to outstanding reception in the UK we have this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0563504099/qid=1150761681/sr=8-1/ref=pd_ka_1/026-5793520-5608453

That's cool-but what's on it. Because there really only is about 10-15 minutes of singing tops.

It's the entire play, so I'd assume it has the songs on it. I think my sister has it, but I'm not 100% that she does, but I'll certainly ask her next time I speak to her.

It's the National Theatre cast, it's the full show. One of those rare plays that gets recorded.

No problem. I guess if you don't want the whole play, just the songs, if you can find a nice person with the cd (and possibly some editing software) they could be able to cut them out for you.

I listened to the radio broadcast that was linked (for Amazon.co.uk) online before they took it down a month or so ago. It does, as algy mentioned, indeed have Sam singing Bewitched. It's the entire show (minus the 80s songs that are featured in the video clips, which I rather missed actually). I've been tempted to buy the CD of Amazon.co.uk, but I'm sure it'd cost an arm and a leg to ship...pity they didn't ship some over to sell at the theatre here!!

I'll definitely be looking forward to the soundtrack for the film, assuming it'll be a mix of 80s tracks and the songs the boys sing.

But when did New Hampshire become--Such a backward wasteland of seatbelt hating crazies?...I mean, only 40 people actually live there. The others are just visitors who come for the tax-free liquor and three inches of novelty coastline. John Hodgeman on The Daily Show (1-30-07)

I also thought their singing of BYE BYE BLACKBIRD rather poignant!

That C.D. is awfully tempting! But I think I'm going to wait for the movie as well, much as I would like to have Sam Barnett singing all those songs right now. My personal favorite is 'Sing As We Go' because it always puts me in hysterics for reasons unknown to me. But I really love everything Sam sings re: Samuel Barnett
