yeah! I'm from the san Jose area, and the theater down here is great too-- AMT SJ and Theatreworks, as previously mentioned.

Fun places in SF I like to go:

the Pier (lots of fun shopping and good food)
Japanese Tea Garden (beautiful scenery, really relaxing and good tea)
SF Zoo (what can I say? animals are fun)
Of course the Haight-Ashbury area...amoeba records, all the clothing stores there...really quite fun to go to.

Alright ladies and gentlemen! (And Beav.) I've printed the thread and I'm off to NoCal and Reno tomorrow! Tata! (Beav, I'll try to pop in here once in a while, so do PM me if you're free next Thursday or Friday. Unfortunately, as it turns out, those are the only days I'll be in the Bay area! Perhaps we can meet up with another Bay area resident on your list of people to meet? )

ooh i'd like that!!! let me know when!! i'm in san rafael!! i'll see if i can make it to sF!!
