According to http://www.ladyghost.com/sara.html Sara Ford will leave Phantom in June to Star in "Little House on the Prairie- The Musical" as Nellie Olson at the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis.

Is she leaving Phantom for good or just taking a leave? I clicked on the link you provided and it took me to an old interview with Sara Jean Ford, but I couldn't find information about her leaving Phantom for Little House. Where do I find that?

I think she's fabulous.

God, I hope she leaves Phantom for good. She's the worst Christine I've ever had the displeasure of seeing.

Really? I actually never liked Phantom until I saw it with Sara Jean Ford. I felt she was the only one who ever made Christine a truly multi-dimensional character as opposed to a flimsy damsel in distress. I'd be interested to know why you thought she was the worst Christine.

I agree...Sarah Jean Ford is one of the best Christines there has been in years, in my opinion.

I hope she's not gone for good...or that Rachel Barrell replaces her.

I contacted Sara, and she does not know if she will return or not.

Ah so I'm guessing this means Sara does not plan to return. Does anyone know anything about Little House on the Prairie? I watched the video on the site, and it turns out Francesca Zambello is directing (they didn't have heelies back in the days of Little House on the Prairie, did they? Please say no.) It seems like it's doing it's pre-broadway tryout there, ala Little Women at Duke University. Any news/ thoughts? Or maybe my hopes are just too high.

I don't understand people's beef with Marni Raab. I saw her a few times in 2003 when she was the alternate on the tour and thought she was very good. Not excellent, but a solid, well-sung performance.

Really? Kelly Grant is taking over for Sarah? That's exciting. My bad. Well I know Trista M is understudying Christine in some capacity, thought she was replacing Sarah. Makes sense since Kelly is already on the tour.
