Heard a great interview with Sara on On Broadway last night (XM radio). Not sure if they will replay it but it's worth checking out if you are a fan. She seems really down to earth and genuinely grateful for the success she has achieved.
It was cool for me because she alluded to talking at the stage door with a fan about her Tony dress, the fan asked if that was indeed the dress and she said yeah can't you tell from me having to keep pulling it up, and then laughed. Well that fan was me soi it was funny to hear her talk about it.

i love Downstage Center interviews. my personal favorite was probably sutton foster and her stroy to get to broadway. it was wuit funny how her first bow on broadway was just by coincidence next to her brother (in Grease). also, i love the daily playlists. i once submitted one called PLACES:FACT OR FICTION and he played it! it included songs like America, One Shorty Day, and Solla Sollew, and others. it was cool.

I really enjoyed Sara's interview on XM and am SO glad that I got to hear it in light of the poisonous lies and assumptions that have been floating around about her. She was so gracious when I met her - so NOT a diva - and I think she is amazing in Spamalot.

On a side note, regarding XM: I find DJ Julie Squires (that IS her name, right?) excruciating to listen to. She talks so annoyingly slowly and has absolutely nothing to say. She talks to the listeners like they're a bunch of kindergarteners. Whenever I hear her show I keep expecting Mike Schwette to bring in his Holiday Balls.

I happened to be on her website and it was posted that it was going to be on at noon and at 9, so I missed the noon airing. It had to be recorded recently as they discussed her birthday which was just last week. In fact they mentioned that her birthday was last week. (That was when she was wearing the Tony dresss...I forgot to mention that in my first post). She also had very high praise for everyone in the cast and production, inlcuding Mike Nichols. They obviosuly didn't deal with the infamous article..probably because most of it was rubbish anyway. Again, I am not saying she didn't miss shows, just saying they might have been warranted.
