Umm, I guess not in the way you mean. She still starred on Broadway so she should be talked about on this board just like someone like Ethel Merman who hasn't been on Broadway in many years.

Well, Ethel Merman is dead and Brightman just wants nothing to do with the theatre anymore. There's a big difference.

Well, they do both have (or I guess Ethel Merman had) obnoxious voices, but at least Ethel Merman was a true actress.

Didnt see her in Phantom but she sounds good on the CD. Was she good in that?

I never saw he in phantom though she could come back to do the Vegas production of PHANTO since she's more of a Vegas-sell-out-newage performer now! lol

I definately dont like her in Phantom. Anyway I dont think she is even a member of Actors Equity anymore
