Has anyone heard anything about this musical, good, bad or otherwise? Going from the book, I'm guessing it would be good for a family show, yes? I can only find info, from 4 years ago.

I saw it 4 years ago, when it first played the Lucille Lortel. I wouldn't recommend it for very young children, only because I remember it being very sad at times, and I think it would be a lot for smaller children to handle. It's an emotional show. I'd say 8 and up, maybe even 10, would be best. Other than that, it was a lovely production and I really enjoyed it. I'm happy to see that both Becca Ayers and Kate Wetherhead are returning to the cast to play Sarah and Anna. I was lucky enough to see John Lloyd Young as Caleb as well, but that obviously won't be happening again for this run!

I actually have the Original New York Cast Recording with Becca Ayers and JLY.
It's quite good. But yes can be a little heavy for youngin's.
Same composer as Bat Boy.

I would love to see this, but I am not coming till the summer. Is this the type of show that could extend? I went to their website and it seems that they mainly do school shows that tour. Is there any show coming there after Sarah Plain and Tall??

Heather Ayers, Becca's sister of "Five Course Love", will be in the new mounting of the show.
