Has anyone heard anything about this musical, good, bad or otherwise? Going from the book, I'm guessing it would be good for a family show, yes? I can only find info, from 4 years ago.
I saw it 4 years ago, when it first played the Lucille Lortel. I wouldn't recommend it for very young children, only because I remember it being very sad at times, and I think it would be a lot for smaller children to handle. It's an emotional show. I'd say 8 and up, maybe even 10, would be best. Other than that, it was a lovely production and I really enjoyed it. I'm happy to see that both Becca Ayers and Kate Wetherhead are returning to the cast to play Sarah and Anna. I was lucky enough to see John Lloyd Young as Caleb as well, but that obviously won't be happening again for this run!
I actually have the Original New York Cast Recording with Becca Ayers and JLY. It's quite good. But yes can be a little heavy for youngin's. Same composer as Bat Boy.

I would love to see this, but I am not coming till the summer. Is this the type of show that could extend? I went to their website and it seems that they mainly do school shows that tour. Is there any show coming there after Sarah Plain and Tall??
