Thought it missed the mark overall and lacked heart. Awful book.
"I Love a Piano" was the one number that was excellent (couldn't have been done better).
Audience was full, but gave an applause after the show that sounded like a "We just had a mediocre time" type of clap.
Disappointing.

If is around next year & can get a discount will probbly see it
Most of the weekends are gone & the one time we did try & buy tickets the box office was closed so I guess it was not to be this year.

Posted: 11/23/08 at 5:01pmI saw the show yesterday afternoon via the lotto. Though usually not my type of show, I did enjoy myself and took it for what it was. I never saw the movie so I had nothing to compare it to. It was like a throwback to a different era and the dancing, particularly in "I Love a Piano" was most enjoyable.

Posted: 11/23/08 at 5:03pm"I Love a Piano" really was unbelievable. I never saw the movie either, but the show itself just seemed to lack a lot. I expected it to be a really feel good holiday show.

Posted: 11/23/08 at 5:32pmFor you last two posters who've never seen the movie, you really should rent it to see how fantastic the dancing IS. The dancing in the Broadway show just pales in comparison. Believe me, it's a real treat !
