...this doesn't look too good...

Doug Sills sounds good. But is he the one that should have been picked ? Give me Tom Hewitt as the Dentist!! Or...mmm..Raul Esparza. A guy can dream can't he?

The girls should be sounding a lot better. Kerry is pushing too much, and Hunter is lacking something. The voice of the Plant should be WAILING.

I'm sure these are all good people, and you can tell. But. This isn't the right cast.

I just watched it. As much as I love Kerry (I still think she sounds amazing!), it sounds like she has something in her throat. The 3 girls are amazing.

I think Douglas Sills was great and he was perfect for the part. You only saw video of it. I saw the show and he was fantastic.

I saw the show the second week of September and thought Hunter Foster and Douglas Sills were fine, totally disliked Kerry Butler (in this role), and thought the guy who sings Audrey Two's songs stole the show. He's phenomenal.. would that I could remember his name and wasn't too lazy to look it up.

I wasn't blown away by the show, but at the same time, if I had to buy tickets for non-theater savvy visitors from out of town, I head straight for the LSOH box office with no qualms. I think it's going to be a crowd-pleaser in the "lets take the family to see a show" kind of way....not that there's anything wrong with that.

I watched the clip on Broadway.com...
For some reason Kerry did seem out of place or a bit odd as Audrey.
